The sequel to The Da Vinci Code (2006), this film is another Dan Brown film adaptation. Though fans know that the novel Angels & Demons takes place before The Da Vinci Code, it will not stop them from following Harvard symbologist Robert Langdon on his investigation of a murder victim at CERN, who was branded with the Illuminati ambigram.

Avatar

Avatar is James Cameron's chance to go 3-D science fiction. The movie promises to be a head spinner: a man tries to make his way as a miner by combining with an alien during an interplanetary war in which aliens can make themselves manifest by possessing human bodies - avatars. Didn't get it? Well, neither did we.

Jurassic Park IV: ExtinctionMichael Crichton's saga will live on through the fourth 'joy ride' into Jurassic Park IV. While we don't know much about the story (the script seems to be undergoing more changes than frozen embryos). What we do know is that Laura Dern is back in this edition.

The Informant

This dark comedy thriller, directed by Steven Soderbergh, is based on journalist Kurt Eichenwald’ eponymous 2000 non-fiction book. If you want to know what happens after the US government decides to go after an agri-business giant with a price-fixing accusation (based on the evidence submitted by their star witness) then clear your appointments in October.

FBI agent Melvin Purvis is on the hunt - for criminals John Dillinger, Baby Face Nelson, and Pretty Boy Floyd. But what we are keener to see is the face-off between Christian Bale and Johnny Depp.
