Sarah Jessica Parker and her husband Matthew Broderick are expecting twin girls via a surrogate mother. The couple have a six year old son, James, and have long wanted to add to their family but had no luck. Parker, 44, and Broderick, 47, "are happily anticipating the birth of their twin daughters later this summer with the generous help of a surrogate.

The insider says that Parker plans to take some time off after the twins' arrival—but not much. If all goes according to plan, she intends to start shooting the Sex and the City sequel sometime this summer, as well. Nevertheless, no further details have been made public about the surrogate mother and her pregnancy. Both Sarah and Matthew also haven't said a word on why they decide to add to their family using the method.
